Ok, so I am late, but I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
It has been hectic but wonderful here. Right now, I would love to curl up in bed and sleep for at least a week. Kinda makes me sad that Mum and Dad are off work so I am unable to sleep all day hehe.
I didnt manage to finish off all my handmade presents, but out of the ones I did finish, they were prefect. My sister loved the calender that I made with my niece and her scrapbook. The work I put into it, was so worth it, just to see her face when she opened that first page, and even more so the second page when she realized the pictures where her pictures and not just ones I had stolen from the internet. What was more funny, was her trying to work out, how I had managed to get hold of all her photos that she didnt even know where they were.
Adam, seemed to love his Canvas picture and so I have promised to do him a couple more in the future. Bethany loved her photobook from out holiday and Jess liked her sock monkey. It has been a good year.
Christmas presents are always an odd thing. When I buy presents, most of the time, I try to aim for something that really suits the person. If I am short on time, I end up doing what I did last year and just looking for something in my price range that the person will like. There is a big difference between something that suit a person and something a person likes, mainly thought. In a way, I think, perhaps times when presents have been what I was after (Not that I am ungrateful, just more so, when you think, what kind of person am I if they think this is my type of item. The one that sticks to mind most on this aspect was the year my main present was a computer chair for my bedroom, when I was in the box room and having a chair in my room would have meant falling over it every time I got out of bed.) But I am maturing my thoughts a little and realise now, that most people have so much on their mind, or they dont know the person well enough, to buy something that truly suits them.
Alison, completely nailed nailed my present on the head this year. It is the best present that I have had in a long time (again not to be ungrateful, but you know how it is when something just clicks.) We had been talking about Stieff bears, as she had never heard of them and was amazed that a soft toy could go for so much money. She also knows my love of tortoises. So this year, she bought me the most gorgeous Stieff tortoise. He has the perfect facial expression and is just so soft. I know that she had spent a lot on it, but I can tell right from the start, not only did she put a lot of thought into it, but that teddy, will be something that I will keep forever and probably pass down through my family.
I am sure I did have other things to ramble on about, but it is just turning into ramble now ha.
Oh and Andrea (from 2 entries before this) was mved out of ICU on Christmas eve. She is doing amazingly well and it still astounds me.
Oh and yeah, rubbish photos, but my hair has changed colour :) After my bleaching disaster (Did I even right about that?) If I didnt, well, I tried to strip my hair to white ready to put my new christmas colours on it. But instead of white, I ended up with neon bright bubblegum pink frizz. The last red was just too stubborn to wash out.
Im a 26 year old female, who should hold the job title of professional patient these days. Although that is a pretty low paid job. Really, I am just a regular 20 something person trying to find my way in life, whilst fighting a body that seems intent on trying to kill me.

update
I appologise for lack of updates, I usually do my blog just before bed, but this week, by the time I have gotten into bed, I have literally collapsed with exhaustion, not that I have gone straight to sleep but blah.
Firstly, and I think most importantly, Andrea got her transplant!!! WOO WOO!! Surgeons said the op went easier than expected, she was taken off the ventilator the same night and sitting up by the next day. She still has a lot of pain and a long way to go, but things are looking oh so good!! This, is the easier bit now, the getting better, the recovering. I think it is much easier to recover, when a positive end is in sight, when you know it will all be worth while. What a christmas gift huh. Still rooting for you Andrea! You can do this!
As for me, life has been hectic or exhausting. I keep telling my mum, that every time that I go out and I have to push myself, my breathing gets a little bit worse and it dosnt re improve, so I try to avoid going out as much as possible to sustain my throat over the holidays. Everyday she comes home and says, why are you not ready, we need to go out. Gah go out yourself!!
Had a doctors appointment today. Due to the amount of antibiotics I have had over the last 10 months in addition to my meds which are harsh on the stomach, I am having a lot of stomach issues. As I cant get rid off the cause by stopping any of the meds, I am now starting on yet another new med, oh the joy. (Icky bit coming up so you might want to skip the rest of this paragraph) The doc also thinks I need to be running extra nebs as my cough is annoying and yet again coughing up hard chunks (lovely) Apparently, this is from my lower airways and all due to me not being able to get enough air out of my lungs in a cough, so it just kinda sits there and dries (hence why I often get a pain in my lungs) especially when I am asleep as my body gets lazy and dosnt breathe as hard, until I am able to get it out ick. Due to it sitting on my chest, I need to doubly keep an eye on my temp and seek treatment, should I get any rise.
Oh, in other news, I decided that I was changing my hair colour for christmas. I wanted to go turquoise and purple. I but the bleach stripping stuff on that I normally use. Did my hair go white? yellow? orange? nope!! It is bright neon bubblegum pink, with glowing white roots! I used a new red dye last time I did it (still semi perment) but it must just have way more staying power than previous ones, and a bleach, that I have perviously used to take black dyed hair to white, would not take all the red out. Looks like I will have to go back to red for Christmas, though mum keeps trying o talk me into going a natural colour (nah)
Tomorrow, I am sitting in the hospital for 3 hours with my niece (makes a change from me) She has broken her wrist (again!) so she has to go for some special bone scan with contrast dye. Joy of joys. I also have mums stocking to finish another sock monkey and a ton of wrapping! I just wrapped most of mums stuff and it took me nearly 2 hours gah!
oh wel, hopefully the stress will be over in a couple of days and I can chill out a bit more hehe.
I shall leave you with a picture of our tree.
And my grumpy Hermy, who was sitting on the fireplace getting a warm off the fire. Dont think he likes having his picture taken.

She got a cal!
A while back, I liked to Andrea's Blog (Here). She is an amazing person. She is currently awaiting a heart transplant, but raising a lot of awareness and keeping active whilst waiting. She even does yoga and pole dancing, with her backpack, carrying her heart pump, literally, her heart is in her bag and she still does all this!!
Well, I logged on this morning and she has gotten a call!! She i sin the hospital now, on that oh so long dreaded wait while you sit there waiting to find out if your life is about to change forever!
Anyway, Andrea, you are an amazing amazing lady, I really hope this is the one for you and that this Christmas, you get the best gift of all, to live again!!
I have everything crossed for you and I am praying for you!
YesI know I look crap lol. But can everyone keep her in their thoughts and such.
Thanks.
